What it is

Psychotherapy

Therapy is where a lot of real change happens. At Voyager we offer evidence-based therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), and family therapy, matched to what you need.

Therapy here isn't handed off to a separate person and forgotten. It's part of one connected plan, so your therapy and any medication always work toward the same goals.

Sessions are a space to understand patterns, build practical skills, and work through what's weighing on you, at a pace that feels right for you.

Our Methods

The approaches we use

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. We draw on five evidence-based approaches, blended to fit you and what you're working through.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on the link between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together we notice the unhelpful patterns that keep you stuck and build practical, present-focused skills to change them. It's one of the most well-studied approaches for anxiety, depression, and OCD.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy looks beneath the surface at how past experiences and long-held patterns shape the way you feel and relate today. By understanding the "why" behind what you're feeling, you gain insight that makes lasting change possible.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT helps you make room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of struggling against them, then take action guided by what matters most to you. It blends mindfulness with meaningful, values-based change.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

MI is a collaborative, non-judgmental way of working through ambivalence about change. Rather than pushing, we help you explore your own reasons and confidence for moving forward, so the motivation comes from you and actually sticks.

Family Therapy

Family therapy brings parents, partners, or siblings, together to improve communication, ease conflict, and help everyone understand what's happening and how to move forward.
